Contingency plan

Problem	How will you avoid or solve this problem?
Models not turning up/ are late	I could have a back up model who stays and watches the photo-shoot as well in case any problems occur while the photo-shoot is happening. Also I could remind the models they have a photo-shoot on the morning of the day.
Memory sticks going missing and all work is lost	Back-up my files on my laptop at home and on my college network space so if the files are lost they can be found again. Also have a backup memory stick.
Memory sticks corrupting	Use the same version of the software I want to use on every computer that I go on. And also have a backup memory stick.
Vital files (pictures, text, sounds, footage) getting deleted or lost	Back up the work on the college network, my personal computer and a memory stick so I have lots of copies of the same file and having my files organised.
Running out of network space	Sorting out the files on my network space and deleting ones I don’t need. If I still have no space I could use space on my home laptop or store all work on memory sticks and back up memory sticks.
Models not turning up in costume	Meet my model before the photo shoot time starts so I can tell them what I want them to look like for the shoot. Or prepare the model myself before the photo-shoot.
Computers crashing after you have spent two hours perfecting a particular piece of work	Save my work regularly on my network space and memory stick. Do a method where after every paragraph click save.
Fonts not installed on C drives	Save the fonts and put the ones I want on my memory stick so it is quick to transfer them all onto the C drive.
Photographs coming back out of focus after a difficult photo shoot has just been executed	Make sure I take several pictures of each set up before moving on to a new set up.
External shoots planned but bad weather causes you to abandon the shoot	Book an indoor photo shoot slot just in case. Always have a back up plan.
Personnel not turning up	Have a back-up team (including model, lighting assistant, make-up assistant).
Cameras running out of batteries	Borrow a camera and charge it before my photo shoot time slot. Make sure your pre-pared and have a back up battery or charge the camera before the shoot.

in the end:
In the end a lot of the contingencies were expected and pr planned. Therefore i avoided most problems. But on big problem that i didn't plan for was time. I found i very quickly ran out if time. This made me rush the final part of my product. Next time i will be sure to stick to my schedule as that would have really helped me.
