Lesson
1:
For this lesson I will be preparing and
completing my photo-shoot. I already have my models prepared for the shoot. I
will need to attend the lesson a little earlier to make sure the camera and
lighting is set up and ready. My models are turning up all ready to go with
make up and hair done, that they’ve already been told about. The photos I’m
taking are quite simple; there is nothing to fussy or awkward to take. Once my
photos are taken I need to upload them straight away onto my own workspace so I
don’t loose them or they accidently get deleted. This will take up the whole
lesson.
At the end of the lesson I’m going to hand in
my first draft of my article and ask my tutor to mark it for Friday.
Lesson
2:
For this lesson I am going to edit my pictures
to make them look professional. Although this seems like a simple task it takes
a while to make sure the pictures are as good as they can be. Also I haven’t
used Photoshop in a while so ill be re-teaching myself.
Lesson
3:
For
this lesson I’m going to put my pictures into each double page spread. I need
to make sure there in the right place and make sure there they match the
quality of my titles. If the pictures don’t suite I have time to plan another
photo-shoot or maybe even go back to photos and alter them again. This will
take the majority of the lesson.

Project Monitoring & blog:
(Refer to last weeks schedule because the same
again will be happening)
I need to pick up my first drat of my article
ready to do a second draft.
Homework
1:
This week I have a lot of work to do in other
subjects so iv planned this week making sure I don’t have as much homework to
do. So for my homework this week I’m going g to dot he second draft of my
article and make sure I have altered any mistakes and re-written anything that
doesn’t make sense. This will take the majority of my weekend and will be ready
to hand in for Monday morning.
Exams/other
subject deadlines:
Work and English language coursework. Also my
Graphic exam will have started.
What i have completed:
* My photo shoot went to plan. All my models and staff were on time thanks to my successful call sheets. The whole process ran smoothly and everyone knew what was needed to be done.
*The editing of the pictures went well. Im a graphic student as well so this was very fast and precise. This also stopped problems occurring thanks to my contiengcy sheet. I was aware of the problems and avoided them.
* i haven't put the pictures into the double page spreads yet, instead I've focused on getting the titles in the right place before i add images.
Client?
i believe my client will be very impressed with my progress. I'm moving swiftly along and the magazine is starting to take place. I have one draft of an article done as well as all the titles and images. Now, basically its a case of putting them all together and tweaking it.
Technically?
Technically I've learnt a lot this week. Ive taught myself how to deal with time. Also I've learnt a lot about how to use a camera. There was a professional photographer helping me and he taught me lots of new tips and tricks in the studio. He also helped me a lot with lighting and gave me a clearer meaning of how much the light can effect the photo.
Also i found i was uploading the images incorrectly. I then learnt a simpler more effective method of doing this thats also more reliable.
